Copyright & creator opt-out

Last updated 4 August 2026.

Draft. Company details in lib/company.ts are still placeholders, and a lawyer has not reviewed this text.

How this works

A person gives us a link to a video and asks for a written version of it. We produce that article and send it to that person. We do not publish a library of articles, we do not put them on a public page, and we do not email them to a subscriber list.

We keep sponsor reads and advertisements in place. Removing them would take money out of a creator’s pocket, so we do not do it.

We are not affiliated with any creator, channel, network or platform whose work our users convert.

Creator opt-out

If you are a creator, or you act for one, you can ask us to stop converting your work. We honour these requests. We do not ask you to justify it.

Email copyright@articlize.ai with:

  • The channel URL, or the specific video URLs.
  • A sentence confirming you are the creator or represent them.

We add the channel to our block list within five working days and confirm by email. After that, a request for one of those videos is refused and the user’s credit is returned.

DMCA notice

If you believe material we produced infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent:

[DMCA AGENT NAME]
[LEGAL ENTITY NAME]
[REGISTERED ADDRESS]
copyright@articlize.ai

Your notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or someone authorised to act for them.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material you are complaining about, with enough detail for us to find it.
  4. Your address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury that you are authorised to act for the copyright owner.

We act on complete notices within five working days. We also accept counter-notices at the same address.

We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly submit infringing material.

A note on what we can and cannot remove

We do not store the articles we produce. Once an article is emailed, the copy that exists is the one in the recipient’s inbox. We can stop future conversions of your work, and we can confirm that we have done so. We cannot recall an email that has already been delivered.
